Library
The underlying force behind every successful student is an ocean of knowledge, usually found to be in a good and well stocked library. The flourished library is the special feature of the college. The college is always taking care and laborious efforts to enrich the library in its quantity and quality. The total number of books in the senior and junior colleges are 25,000 up to this date. This includes prescribed books, reference books, dictionaries and encyclopedias. Audio and Video cassettes of some of the subjects are also available.
To enhance the knowledge of the students, the library is stocked with journals, periodicals, magazines and local, state, national level daily newspapers. The books are issued to the students on borrow card as per schedule. So also the books are issued to the poor students throughout the year through Book Bank scheme. There is a separate seating arrangement for the students in the library. Newspapers, Magazines and question papers are kept in the regarding room.
Laboratories
Science stream of the college has well established laboratories. Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Microbiology and Zoology departments are at special level. Each of these departments is spacious and fulfilling all the basic needs. They are well equipped with adequate number of equipment’s and advanced instruments providing ample opportunity for each student to do his practical independently.
The faculties in department undertake research projects funded by UGC & Universities. Latest teaching and learning aids and equipment’s are used for imparting education. These include overhead projector, multimedia systems and others. A separate common instrumentation also has been developed for students in all the science subjects and it is updated regularly.
Cultural and Co-curricular Activities
The college has its independent cultural association. Students are encouraged to participate in various cultural activities like folk dance, group songs, one act play, drama, skit, debating, and elocution, essay writing etc. They are provided with required facilities and guided by the art circle as well as by appointment experts from various fields.
Our students participate in various cultural events organized by our parent’s institution and universities. They are felicitated by various awards and prizes.
Sports
We have proud of our Gymkhana which looks after the health and sports of the students. As it is true that sound mind in sound body, we take care of each human resources and try to maintain its health as wealth.
Our Gymkhana has separate hall for indoor games, spacious playground which has 8 lane 400 meters standard track and well developed and maintained grounds for Kabbadi, Hand-ball, Volley-ball, and KhoKho Courts. Indoor facilities available are eight station multi-gym, weight plates, weight bars, dumbbells, Push-up stands, cycle, walker, twister, Bike, rowing machine, Volter, carom, chess, Table-tennis, etc. The college encourages the student to participate and deputes individual or teams of students for participation in the inter university and other national level tournaments.
Playground
The total area of the playground is 19,800 Sq. meters. It has 8 lanes 400-meter standard track, courts for the game of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volley ball, Hand ball, Athletics (Field and track), High jump mat with bar & stand and single court for football, long jumping pit.
NSS
One of the added attractions of the college is in its NSS unit. With a view to provide educational experience to students through participation in social service, college has established its NSS unit having intake capacity of 200 students. Projects undertaken by NSS unit of the college has been fulfilled the twin objectives of personality development of students and community service.
It is proud to mention that the NSS unit of this college is recipient of India Gandhi National Award 2001 – 2002 from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India for its outstanding work in the rural area of Maharashtra.
Thus the college which is set up in the heart of the rural area with a view to promote women’s education in the villages around came into limelight.
Hostel
College has a Ladies Hostel facility for which Bharati Vidyapeeth has constructed three story, well designed, spacious building in the college campus by expending crores of rupees. The hostel accommodates over 500 girls in spacious and well ventilated rooms. Also it is well equipped providing solar system, power generator, canteen & mess, separate playground, indoor games, study room and library. Adequate security arrangements are made and individual care is always taken by the management. The students can avail of payphone & departmental store facilities available in the campus. Our hostel attracts students from all the area of region because of facilities it provides and disciplines it maintains. Married women can also stay in the hostel and complete their education.
A separate admission form is required to be filled up for seeking admission in the hostel. A prospect giving details of fee structure, rules and regulations and admission form is available in the hostel office.
Solar Power
Language Lab/ Commerce Computer Lab
Well-developed computer lab is another feature of this college. An independent computer lab is equipped with advanced computers supported by the latest software and hardware components. The students are trained to make the use of computer technology in the practical field. The students can take the advantages of these computers during their regular course study. The computer lab provides internet facility for students.
