Distinctiveness

The college Matoshri Bayabai Shripatrao Kadam Kanya Mahavidyalaya Kadegaon has established on the great vision of our founder member.  The moto of the parent institute is ‘Social Transformation through Dynamic Education.’ ‘The girl students from the nearby villages are able to take education due to the institute established for the women from KG to PG. Main business of the people is farming and as it depends on nature there was economical poverty. However the efforts of our founder in all sector started to enrich their status of leaving. Considering the aim of our parent institute our college is always extensively working in these fields for the betterment of social empowerment. Every faculty has its own extension activities. Faculty contributes their work in society by engaging different outreach activities and involved in the social, economic, educational, environmental awareness program and offers the gratitude over the society.

Besides this our institute runs various programs through National service scheme. our unit of NSS is all India Indira Gandhi national award 1^st prize winner in 2002 and accordingly institute works in the society for the betterment of society in the needy sectors. Our work has been extended in the social issues, environmental, educational and health awareness. Society and people appreciates our work and noted. We organizes cleanliness camps in nearby villages in the temples, schools, cremation ground as well as tree plantation programs and plastic free campus programms. Awareness rallies, health checkup camps for children, women and adults, as well for cattle’s also. The villages of Kadegaon tehsil like Hingangaon Kh, and Soholi was adapted by NSS unit and achieve a social transformation through the various activities. The programm of women empowerment has been implemented by NSS at Vihapur village. Vivek vahini unit organizes Khadi exhibition camps in the college campus and cracker free Diwali and ecofriendly holi awareness in the school students of nearby areas.
